Easy steps to rent your car with confidence
Reservation
Book by phone or online. Let us know your preferred vehicle and dates.
- Rental period (pickup & return)
- Preferred vehicle class
- Options (GPS, ETC, child seat, etc.)
- Customer information (name, contact)
Required Documents
Please bring the following on pickup day.
- Driver's license (Japanese or International)
- Passport (for non-Japanese nationals)
- Credit card (optional)
Pickup
Complete paperwork at our shop and receive your vehicle.
- Sign rental agreement
- Payment
- Vehicle inspection (check for scratches)
- Operation instructions & guidelines
Drive
Enjoy the natural beauty of Hokkaido!
- Drive safely and follow traffic rules
- Contact insurance/shop in case of emergency
- Use regular gasoline (varies by vehicle)
Return
Return with a full tank of gas.
- Return by scheduled time
- Full tank return (we'll guide you to nearby gas stations)
- Check for personal belongings
- Vehicle inspection and return complete
Japanese Traffic Rules
Please read for safe driving
Drive on the Left
In Japan, vehicles drive on the left side. Right-hand drive cars, overtake from the right.
Speed Limits
Regular roads: 40-60km/h, Highways: 80-100km/h. Follow road signs.
Seatbelt Required
All passengers must wear seatbelts at all times.
No Drunk Driving
Drunk driving is strictly prohibited in Japan. Even small amounts of alcohol are not allowed.
No Phone While Driving
Using mobile phones while driving is prohibited. Please use hands-free devices.
Complete Stop Required
At "Stop" signs, you must come to a complete stop, not just slow down.
Stop at Railway Crossings
You must stop before railway crossings and confirm safety before proceeding.
Highway Tolls
Japanese highways are toll roads. Pay with ETC card or cash.
Important Notes
- Must be 20+ years old with 1+ year driving experience
- Please contact us in advance if extending rental
- Subletting/transferring the vehicle is prohibited
- Smoking in non-smoking vehicles incurs cleaning fee
- Pets are not allowed in vehicles
